Manchu Shaman Dance Project Batch: Provincial 3rd Batch Project Protection Unit: Tailai County Cultural Center Representative Inheritors: Zheng Yuping Zhang Zhenhai Manchu Shaman Dance is a dance performed by shamanism wizards in activities such as sacrifice, exorcism, and disease treatment. It is popular among the Manchu people in Tailai County, Qiqihar City. Over thousands of years of historical development, Shaman Dance, which combines religion with singing and dancing, has become an ancient national art form loved by the Manchu people. During the festival, the masses take turns to dance, with one person leading the singing and the others singing along, showing the main connotation of the Manchu primitive religion's belief in animism and totem worship.
