Ningguta Folk Literature Project Batch: Provincial 1st Batch Project Protection Unit: Hailin Cultural Center Representative Inheritor: Wang Qingmin Ningguta Folk Literature Department is a collection of folk literature that is spread in Ningguta, Heilongjiang, and integrates stories, legends, proverbs and ballads. The most famous of these are the myths and legends formed by the regional landforms of Heilongjiang, Jingbo Lake, Hailang River and Poxue Spring, as well as the legends of Manchu historical figures such as Heifei, Sabusu, Hongluo Woman and Laohan King. They are of great academic value to the study of anthropology, linguistics, folklore and the history of cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries in the Mudanjiang River Basin.
