The Madara Rider or Madara Horseman[1] (Bulgarian: xd0x9cxd0xb0xd0xb4xd0xb0xd1x80xd1x81xd0xbaxd0xb8 xd0xbaxd0xbexd0xbdxd0xbdxd0xb8xd0xba, Madarski konnik) is an early medieval large rock relief carved on the Madara Plateau east of Shumen in northeastern Bulgaria, near the village of Madara.
